Sun Salutation Song
I make a circle nice and round
Now I stamp hard on the ground
I bend and walk my hands, then stop
Now I am a triangle with my bottom on top
I'm a lion big and strong
Now I'm stretching lean and long
Other side

And try to look silly

 Tree Pose
I send roots down deep into the earth.
I am focused and stable
I reach high to the sky.

Elephant Breath
Elephants can shower themselves with their own trunks.
Choose something to shower yourself with - sparkles, love, laughter, strength.
Stand with your feet wide apart.
Link your hands and dangle your arms in front of you like an elephant trunk.
Inhate through your nose as you raise your arims high above your head and lean back.
Exhale through your mouth as you swing your arms down through your legs.

Turtle Pose Poem

This is a call and response poem recited while doing turtle pose
Have children repeat each line after you say it

I am a turtle
I have my house on my back
I am safe and warm
I take my house wherever I go
And I meet new friends
1, 2, 3
Say hello to me...
(everyone pokes their heads out of their turtle shells to say hello to the other turtles around them)
